The post of Krushi Sevak (Agricultural Servant) falls under the Department of Agriculture, Government of Maharashtra. This recruitment is for filling vacant posts of Krushi Sahayak (Agricultural Assistant) under Group-C cadre on a fixed stipend. After successfully completing three years of satisfactory service as a Krushi Sevak, the candidate is appointed to the regular post of Krushi Sahayak.

1. Educational Qualification (Eligibility)
A candidate must possess one of the following qualifications to apply for the Krushi Sevak post:
- A Diploma in Agriculture from a Statutory University, OR
- A Degree in Agriculture (e.g., B.Sc. Agri.), OR
- Any higher educational qualification in Agriculture.
Note: Candidates pursuing the final year of the course are not eligible to apply.
2. Age Limit
The age limit is calculated as of the last date of application submission:

3. Selection Process and Syllabus
Selection Method:
- Selection is based on the merit achieved in the Online Computer Based Examination (CBT).
- To be considered for the merit list, candidates must score a minimum of 45% marks in the exam.
Exam Pattern:
The exam is an Objective Multiple Choice test, conducted primarily in Marathi.

4. Salary/Stipend
Upon appointment as a Krushi Sevak, a fixed stipend of ₹16,000/- per month (as per the last notification) is provided. After the successful completion of three years of service, the candidate is promoted to the regular post of Krushi Sahayak with a standard pay scale.
