The Government of Maharashtra implements numerous welfare schemes for various sections of society. The Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (MahaBOCW) provides the following key benefits to its registered workers:

- Educational Schemes:
- Scholarships for children of registered workers (e.g., annual financial aid ranging from ₹2,000/- to ₹25,000/- for graduation/post-graduation after 10th grade).
- Assistance for purchasing educational materials.
- Health Schemes:
- Reimbursement of medical expenses for serious illnesses.
- Coverage under Jan Arogya Schemes for registered workers.
- Social Security Schemes:
- Financial assistance to dependents in case of natural or accidental death (e.g., ₹5,00,000/- for accidental death).

📝 Application Process
- Worker Registration:
- To avail of these schemes, the applicant must first be registered with the MahaBOCW.
- Registration requires proof of having worked in construction for more than 90 days in the preceding 12 months.
- Scheme Selection:
- The worker must select the specific scheme they wish to benefit from on the Board’s official website (e.g., mahabocw.in).
- Required Documents:
- Documents vary by scheme, but generally include Aadhaar Card, Bank Passbook, Proof of Work (90 days), Age Proof, and specific documents related to the scheme (e.g., previous year’s mark sheet/fee receipt for scholarship).

- The registered worker can submit the application with the required documents either through the online portal or at the respective Board office.
- Verification and Benefit:
