What to do if you haven’t received the money?

​If your application status shows ‘Approved’ but the funds haven’t been credited, follow these essential steps:

1. Verify Aadhaar Seeding (DBT Status)

​The most common reason for payment failure is that your bank account is not linked with your Aadhaar for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Even if you have a bank account, you must ensure that “Aadhaar Mapping” is active at your bank branch.

2. Check Application Status on Narishakti Doot App

​Open the app and check the current status:

  • Pending: Your application is still being processed.
  • Rejected: Check the reason for rejection and re-apply or correct the error.
  • Back to Beneficiary: This means there is a mistake in your form. You need to edit and resubmit it.

3. Check for Multiple Bank Accounts

​Sometimes, the money is credited to a different bank account than the one you provided, provided that account is the one linked to your Aadhaar. Check all your active bank accounts.

4. Ensure KYC is Updated

​If your bank account has been inactive for a long time, the transaction might bounce. Visit your bank to ensure your KYC (Know Your Customer) documentation is up to date and the account is “Active.”

5. Contact Official Support

​If everything seems correct but you still haven’t received the funds, you can:

  • ​Call the government helpline at 181.
  • ​Visit your local Setu Suvidha Kendra or the Anganwadi center where you submitted your form.
