​How to Apply for Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY)?

​You can apply for this scheme through both online and offline methods.

  • Online Application:
    • ​You can directly visit the official government portal at https://pmmvy.wcd.gov.in/, register as a beneficiary, and fill out the online application form.
  • Offline Application (Through Anganwadi/Asha Worker):
    • ​Visit the nearest Anganwadi Centre or Primary Health Centre (PHC).
    • ​Collect the necessary forms for application: Form 1-A, Form 1-B, and Form 1-C from the Anganwadi Worker or Asha Worker.
    • ​Submit the completed form along with all required documents to the Anganwadi Sevika or Asha Worker.
    • ​They will verify your application and forward it to the concerned officer for further processing.

Note: Before applying, ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for the scheme. The benefit is ₹5,000/- for the first live birth and an additional ₹6,000/- if the second child is a girl (PMMVY 2.0).

​The documents required may vary based on the stage of the benefit, but generally, the following are needed:

6Child’s Birth Certificate(Required for the second and third installments).
7MCP Card with Immunization Details(Proof of the child’s complete primary immunization cycle: BCG, OPV, Pentavalent, etc. – required for the second and third installments).
