​🎯 Objective of the Scheme

​To encourage farmers to adopt modern and effective farming practices. Specifically, to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers for purchasing mini-tractors, thereby ensuring farm work is completed in less time and at a lower cost.

​💰 Subsidy Amount

​The subsidy typically ranges from 25% to 50% of the tractor’s cost or up to the maximum limit set by the government (e.g., up to ₹75,000 to ₹1,00,000). This amount changes periodically and according to the applicant’s category (SC/ST/Women/General).

​🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Key Beneficiaries

  • ​Small and marginal farmers.
  • ​Farmers belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories.
  • ​Women farmers.
  • ​Farmer groups or Farmer Producer Companies (FPO).

​✅ Eligibility Criteria

  • ​The applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra (or the respective state).
  • ​The applicant must have the 7/12 and 8-A extract (land proof) in their name.
  • ​The applicant must not have availed of any Central or State Government tractor subsidy scheme previously.
  • ​The tractor purchase must be made from a Government-approved dealer.

  • 7/12 and 8-A Extract (Land proof).
  • Aadhaar Card (Identity and address proof).
  • PAN Card (If required).
  • Bank Passbook Copy (For depositing the subsidy amount).
  • Caste Certificate (For SC/ST/other categories).
  • Income Certificate (If required).
  • Tractor Purchase Quotation/Invoice (Obtained from the dealer).
  • Details of the Tractor Type and Model.
  • Relevant Application Form.

​💻 Application Process

  1. Visit the Online Portal: The application is usually submitted through the MahaDBT Farmer Scheme Portal (or equivalent state portal).
  2. Registration/Login: Register as a new user or log in with an existing ID on the portal.
  3. Scheme Selection: In the ‘Schemes for Farmers’ option, select the ‘Mini Tractor Subsidy’ scheme under ‘Agricultural Mechanization’.
  4. Fill Details: Carefully fill in all personal, farm, and tractor-related information requested in the application.
  5. Upload Documents: Scan and upload all necessary documents.
  6. Submit Application: Submit the application and take a printout for your records.
